The gas cavern storage facility, which serves National Energy Board (NEB) regulated pipelines, maintains its operations with a tri-annual shutdown schedule. As part of a contract crew, we were responsible for the electrical maintenance and testing of the 138kV substation and medium voltage switchgear. Additionally, we provided ongoing support and troubleshooting, including addressing an incomplete start sequence in the DCS interlock and resolving a rectifier failure.
